Portrait photography is incredibly important to me. Portraits are not just about having a “nice photograph”, they are much more.

They are about taking time to reflect on oneself and other loved ones. What it is about the way that I am today, that I want to remember in years to come. That I want my loved one’s to remember. What is it about my partner or spouse that elevates me and makes me a better version of myself.

As a parent of two boys, I know that life goes too fast. One minute they are babies and now my eldest is almost ready for secondary school. Where did that time go?

I am thankful for meaningful photographs that remind me of them at a specific age. They remind me of the things that I loved the most about them during that time. How it felt to hug them and lifted them in the air and seeing them laugh.
